My first true photograph was taken with a friend's Nikon EM 35mm, deep in hills of southeastern Minnesota. It was a moment of such significance that fifteen years later, I'm still taking photographs.

merry go round

This photograph began with me goofing around with the camera but I soon realized that the combination of twilight, motion and an old playground staple served to create a strange but fun composition.
