My first true photograph was taken with a friend's Nikon EM 35mm, deep in hills of southeastern Minnesota. It was a moment of such significance that fifteen years later, I'm still taking photographs.

downtown nights

It was definitely chilly out when I took this photo but I had plenty of layers so really the only thing cold were my fingers. Worth it though cause this is one of my favorite views of east downtown.
